Atlanta

Yesterday Ben and I went to Atlanta for the day with our friends Kenneth and Joe for a MVP City event!  It was a long drive there and back but you would have never known it!  Between jamming out to a wonderful mix of worship songs and good conversions our trip flew by. 

We also got the chance to meet up with some old friends once we got to GA! Jonathan and Marissa moved to GA once getting married so it has been almost two years since we have see each other! We ate lunch (chick fil a) and played catch up. We unfortunately we had less than an hour and boy did time fly by!  But I love it when old friends meet up after a long time and start back right where they left off.  It felt like we just saw each other yesterday.  It is also a great feeling when you know you are reconnecting with friends that are down to earth and God loving people like Jonathan and Marissa.  We left with the hope of reconnecting in a couple weeks when they travel to SC!  

Then we headed to the MVP City event!  Arriving right on time to see 300+  of our friends and family!  We had a four hour event (flew by) that had us laughing, encouraged, motivated and inspired! Our close friends Cindy and Jens Brynteson hosted this event and man they are such an amazing godly couple!  They have helped us, our friends and family reach their dreams and goals that they may have never thought would come true.

Then on our way home we stopped in Greenville to see our friend Aaron! We hung out in Barnes and Noble for about an hour and again caught up on old times!  Another really good friend that we can meet up at random times and feels like time has stood still.  It is nice to know that no matter where we go in life there will always have friends we can rely on.

The overall the trip was amazing and way too short!  Can't wait until the next MVP event in St. Augustine FL! :)
